Localiser and Edgar are pooling their expertise for the hydrogen economy

We are pleased to be collaborating with Edgar, which supports project developers in the planning and optimization of hydrogen facilities.

Through its integration with Localiser’s H₂ Marketplace, Edgar can quickly receive qualified inquiries from interested project developers. At the same time, users of the H₂ marketplace benefit from Edgar’s standardized approach to the cost-optimized design of H₂ facilities—supported by the H₂ agent.

This creates consistent added value: Project developers quickly gain a reliable foundation for evaluating their H₂ projects on a technically sound basis, optimizing them economically, and reducing investment risks.

    How do you develop a hydrogen marketplace for Hamburg? Our CEO, Oliver Arnhold, discussed this in an interview with Erneuerbare Energien Hamburg (EEHH). In the interview, he provides insights into the platform’s current status, its unique features, and the next steps in its development.

    About 70 additional companies are already registered on the Hamburg marketplace and are using it to network, exchange offers and requests, or establish new business contacts. In the interview, Oliver explains why real-life contacts, regional geodata, and tailored search options set the marketplace apart from other platforms. He also explains how new features, such as the H2 Agent, will further support networking within the hydrogen economy in the future. Early real-world success stories are already demonstrating the marketplace’s added value for companies.

    Digital marketplace for the Hamburg metropolitan region launched

    Renewable Energies Hamburg Cluster Agency GmbH (EEHH) has teamed up with Localiser RLI GmbH to develop and launch a digital hydrogen marketplace for the Hamburg metropolitan region.

    The aim is to systematically bring together supply and demand along the entire hydrogen value chain – from production and infrastructure to application.

    From November 18 to 22, 2024, our CEO Oliver Arnhold was invited to the European Hydrogen Week of the European Parliament in Brussels. He presented the hydrogen marketplace in the section “Success stories from the Baltic Sea Region” as part of the “Hydrogen in the Baltic Sea Region: the Baltic Sea Region at the forefront of innovation”.

    On 08.11.2024, our Co-CEO Oliver Arnhold and our student assistant Elea Nebelung were guests at the 16th Hydrogen/Fuel Cell Discussion at the Lower Saxony Ministry of Economic Affairs, Transport, Building and Digitization in Hanover. They presented the international hydrogen marketplace to the audience, consisting of political and business representatives from northern Germany. Interesting discussions were held at the events and constructive questions were asked, including about our hydrogen marketplace.

    Greetings from Riga! Our employees Elea Nebelung and Aleksandra Maliszewska were in the Latvian capital Riga from October 9 to 11. An event of the “HyTruck” project took place there. Localiser has been a partner of HyTruck for a long time.

    As part of the HyTruck project, all project partners met in Rostock in March 2024. The current status of the project was discussed at the meeting. Oliver Arnhold, Co-Managing Director of Localiser, was there again as part of the hydrogen marketplace.

    Anniversary! Localiser celebrates 5th birthday

    On September 7, 2018, Localiser had its 5th anniversary. Founded as a small startup, Kathrin Goldammer and Oliver Arnhold had the vision to build a company for planning charging infrastructure. This version has developed into a company that now employs 11 people and has planned more than 1,000,000 locations internationally. On September 11, the big birthday party took place in Tempelhof.
