An energetic summer – power outage and press
The biggest power outage since World War II? No problem for Localiser! We are known for our innovative solutions, and this challenge was no exception. Without hesitation, our CEO Oliver Arnhold supplied the office with his KIA EV6, saving the shareholders' meeting.

Power outage at the Adlershof Technology Park! At the same time, preparations for the shareholders' meeting were underway. A quick solution was needed to keep operations running. Without hesitation, CEO Oliver Arnhold connected his KIA EV6 as a power source and supplied the entire office. The shareholders' meeting was saved!
Problem: In critical failure situations, there is a lack of power for households, communications, and security systems.
Solution: A vehicle with suitable technology (bidirectional charging/V2G) acts as a local emergency power buffer.
Outcome: The example in Berlin clearly shows that private electric cars can be integrated into a decentralized energy system – with immediate added value for security of supply.
