March 2025:
Localiser CEO Kathrin Goldammer becomes a professor at the Berlin University of Applied Sciences
Our Co-CEO Kathrin Goldammer has been appointed honorary professor by the Berlin University of Applied Sciences (HTW Berlin). She is now a professor in the Department of Engineering.

Kathrin enriches the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses
in Renewable Energies with her many years of practical
experience. Kathrin has been teaching the economic aspects
of the use of renewable energies at HTW Berlin as a lecturer
since 2023 and, among other things, conducts a start-up
workshop for business start-ups in the energy sector. We are
delighted about her professorship and congratulate Kathrin
warmly!

Background: The problem-oriented transfer of knowledge is
very important to Kathrin. In her work at HTW, she focuses on
cooperative and interactive learning formats and thus opens
up new perspectives on classical engineering sciences for
students. Her courses cover topics such as current energy
policy discussions, sector coupling between the electricity
and transportation sectors, and the regulatory framework
conditions of the energy markets. As an honorary professor,
she will offer regular courses at the HTW. Together with Oliver
Arnhold, she will remain a Co-CEO at Localiser.

-
Investors gain reliable data to assess the attractiveness and performance of existing and planned infrastructure.
The market for electromobility is growing rapidly and with it the need for intelligently planned and efficiently operated charging infrastructure. The two market leaders Localiser and elvah are now pooling their expertise in a strategic partnership to meet precisely these requirements. By combining Localiser's location analyses with elvah's real-time capacity utilization data, they provide planners, operators and investors with the best digital tools for site selection and capacity utilization analysis.

Two experts - one vision: efficient charging infrastructure through data intelligence

The partnership enables a more precise assessment of the attractiveness and cost-effectiveness of charging points. Where Localiser provides location analyses and long-term forecasts, elvah now supplements these with real usage data. This creates a unique basis for holistic, market-oriented decisions.

Localiser specializes in the data-based analysis and evaluation of potential charging infrastructure locations. The company supports players in the mobility sector with precise location forecasts and well-founded recommendations for investment decisions.

elvah complements this planning strength with real utilization and operational data. The company is known for its in-depth insights into local markets, benchmarking against the competition and supporting operators in optimizing existing charging infrastructure.

Well-founded location decisions and efficient operation
“We bring two worlds together,” explains Oliver Arnhold, Managing Director of Localiser. “Together, we enable smarter decisions to be made across the entire life cycle of the charging infrastructure - from planning to operation.”

Sören Ziems, Managing Director of elvah, adds: "Charging infrastructure only works if it is used, understood and continuously developed. This is exactly where our partnership with Localiser comes in. We combine the potential of a location with the reality of its use - through strategic planning and real insights into utilization, performance and user behavior."
